MovieMagicScore Overview
Auto-generatedCrouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), directed by Ang Lee, is a sweeping martial-arts epic that braids action and adventure with drama and romance. The pursuit of a stolen sword and an elusive fugitive draws seasoned warriors into the orbit of a spirited, gifted young noblewoman standing at a turning point in her life. The tone is graceful and elegiac, balancing gravity-defying combat with deep emotional currents. Themes of duty, freedom, longing, and the cost of love give the artistry weight. With a MagicMovieScore of 7.4, it's a must-see for admirers of lyrical action cinema and richly human storytelling.
