Your Heart Will Be Broken

This 2026 romance from director Mikhail Vaynberg follows Polina, a new student who escapes relentless bullying by striking an unusual bargain with the school's most feared boy, Bars: he poses as her boyfriend and shields her, while she must follow his every command. What starts as a calculated arrangement gradually blurs into something genuine, even as families and classmates work to drive the pair apart. Built around the enemies-to-lovers and fake-relationship tropes, the film leans into youthful tension, social pressure, and slow-burning attraction. Fans of teen romantic dramas about forbidden feelings and high-stakes high school dynamics will find plenty to appreciate here. It currently holds a MovieMagicScore of 7.0/10.
