MovieMagicScore Overview
Auto-generatedJoss Whedon directs this 2012 action-adventure science-fiction blockbuster in which a global peacekeeping agency assembles a team of extraordinary heroes to confront an unexpected enemy threatening the world. A large-scale team-up, it balances spectacle and superpowered combat with sharp banter and the friction of strong personalities learning to work together. The tone is propulsive, witty and crowd-pleasing, building toward a city-spanning showdown. Carrying a MagicMovieScore of 8.0, it is a natural pick for fans of superhero ensembles, comic-book spectacle and effects-driven adventure who enjoy big, optimistic blockbusters where mismatched heroes unite against a common threat.
