Biography

Yolanthe Cabau (born Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen) was born on March 19, 1985, on the island of Ibiza, Spain. Her father is Spanish and her mother is Dutch. Her father, Xavier Cabau, known as the “Spanish Queen,” left the family when Yolanthe was only five years old, but she reconnected with him as she grew older. After his death, she went through a difficult period. She has a brother and a sister, as well as step-siblings from her father's second marriage. She moved to the Netherlands with her family at a young age. Yolanthe began her acting and hosting career in the Netherlands and gained attention for her role in the 2004 film “Snowfever.” She appeared in various TV series and programs in the Netherlands. She is particularly known for her role in the series “Onderweg naar Morgen” and her hosting role in the program “De Lama's.” She was named “The Sexiest Dutch Woman” by the Dutch FHM magazine in 2006, 2007, and 2009. Cabau began gaining international recognition and appeared in a small role in the 2013 Michael Bay film “Pain & Gain.” She also had the opportunity to appear in various Turkish productions, such as the 2015 film “Polis Akademisi Alaturka.” In her personal life, she gained the most attention for her relationship with the world-famous Dutch footballer Wesley Sneijder. The couple married in Italy in 2010. This marriage garnered significant attention in Turkey, especially after Sneijder transferred to Galatasaray in 2013. Yolanthe frequently visited Turkey during Sneijder's time at Galatasaray and became a prominent figure in the Turkish tabloid press. The couple welcomed a son named Xess Xava in 2015. However, Yolanthe Cabau and Wesley Sneijder announced their separation in 2019. In addition to acting and hosting, Yolanthe Cabau is also an entrepreneur. She founded her own lifestyle and health brand, “Cabau Lifestyle.” The brand offers sportswear, supplements, and lifestyle products for women. Additionally, she is an active supporter and ambassador for the “Free a Girl” foundation, which aims to protect children from sexual exploitation.
