Jørgen Roos was a Danish documentary filmmaker and cinematographer, celebrated for his extensive work in documenting Greenlandic culture and the Arctic environment. Roos's notable works include Nordatlantens folk (1956) and Angotee (1953), the latter winning the Short Film Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
