William Russell Hardie (May 21, 1904 – July 21, 1973) was an American film actor. Hardie was the son of William and Katherine Hardie (nee Katherine Pauly). He appeared in twenty-seven moving pictures between 1930 and 1966, including an uncredited part in Camille in 1936 and as a Pentagon general in Fail Safe in 1964. He died on July 21, 1973, in Clarence, New York at age 69.
